Institute for Living Voice, the nomadic voice project of Muziektheater Transparant and David Moss, takes residence in Rotterdam from May 23rd till May 31st. The intensive mix of workshops, concerts, lectures and free stage makes of ILV a unique meeting place for everyone interested in the human voice. ILV brings together the most diverse vocalists in an intimate singing atmoshpere. During active workshops (with maximum 10 to 20 participants) the direct contact between teachers and participants has the highest priority. Each session explores and mixes the wide spectrum of vocal possibilities, singing styles and techniques.

Since its founding in 2000, ILV has so far presented 10 sessions in 8 different cities around the world, inviting 51 master-teachers. At the session of ILV in Rotterdam, these teachers will be present: Sainkho Namchylak, Saadet Türköz, Christoph Homberger, David Moss, Jaap Blonk.
