Biography Valérie Marestin (France)

Contralto - After she won the first price in lyrical art at the conservatory of Toulouse and laureates the contest Voix d'or, she completed her education at the opera's of Lyon and Paris. She started her professional career in 1987 as Belle Hélène in the Théâtre de Paris. After that, she performed in the biggest French and foreign theatres where she sang most of the parts of mezzo-soprano in Italian, German and French repertoire, from Verdi to Strauss and Bizet. She is a singing teacher in the conservatory of Avignon.
